You may or may not be aware of the recent ban of Turkey tail sales by the EU.This regulation disallows us to sale products containing Turkey Tail mushroom. The EU regulation states that Turkey tail mushroom is a ‘novel food’.
They state:
"According to the information available to Member States' competent authorities, this product was not consumed in the EU to a significant degree as a food before 15 May 1997. Therefore, a pre-market authorisation in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 is required before it can be placed as food on the EU market.

Turkey Tail a native mushroom to Ireland and has been consumed in Ireland and across Europe medicinally for thousands of years. We are doing everything we can to allow for the sales and advertisment of Turkey Tail in Ireland.
We are working with a small team of mushoom advocates to create a campaign around this issue.
